Clothing Room Update

The Saint Columba House clothing room is now in operation. Our staff and volunteers look forward to welcoming you on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., present yourself in the main hall.
Churches that donate clothing, we would ask you to please donate by 11 a.m. from Monday to Friday. All are welcome to join us for lunch Monday to Friday from 11:30 – 12:45 and also our Spiritual Development Group on Mondays at 1:15….

Community Lunch Program

The Community Lunch Program team looks forward to welcoming you to a fully balanced home-cooked meal daily.  Lunches are served Mondays through Fridays at Saint Columba from 11:30 to 12:45 for the very reasonable rate of $1.75 per meal (or $25 per card for 20 meals.)   Hope you can join us and all are welcome!

Public consultations on the future of the CN lands:

The Public Consultations Office of Montreal will soon present its conclusions on issues and possibilities regarding development of the CN Lands in Point St.Charles. This is an important event, particularly in light of the suspicious fire that destroyed the historic North Complex on the site last November 15th.  Come and let your voice be heard at the Centre St. Charles (1055 Hibernia). Income Tax Clinic

The Volunteer Income Tax clinic will be held at Saint Columba House only on Saturday March 27, and Sunday March 28, 2010. Appointments will be taken as of March 01, 2010. Green Church Project

Saint Columba House continues to work on the Green Church Project team to oversee a pilot project involving a group of United Church ministry sites to identify needs and potential and undertake to improve their environmental practices. Thanks to the wonderful participation of staff, volunteers and community participants, we have made great progress at Saint Columba House with the challenge to reduce our ecological footprint.
